White Sox Pitching Coach Don Cooper believes in the importance of great catching. So, the White Sox Training Academy is excited to invite all catchers to the Mark Salas/Ronnie Deck Catching Camp.
If you’re a catcher, then White Sox Catching Coach Mark Salas and Baltimore Oriole Catching Coach Ronnie Deck want to show you the pro way to work behind the plate.

Coach Salas played Major League Baseball from 1984-1991 and works with the White Sox Relief Pitchers in the bullpen. |
Coach Deck coaches catchers for the Baltimore Orioles and played in the Tampa Bay organization.
Salas or Deck will teach catchers proper receiving, blocking, and throwing mechanics, plus discuss how to handle your pitchers!
| This series of Catching Camps for Youth and High School Players is running in conjunction with the Don Cooper Pitching Camps throughout Chicagoland in January and February 2009.
